Neurodivergent Guide
Clear, sourced, plain English reading about neurodivergence, and practical guides for what to actually do next.
What it is
A reading app. It explains autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and tics in ordinary language, and it covers the practical side: getting assessed, talking to a doctor, work, study, masking, sensory needs, executive function, and supporting someone else.
Every topic lists the sources it draws on and the date its content was last checked.
It does not test you. There are no questionnaires, no scores and no results. Nothing in the app can tell you whether you or anyone else is neurodivergent, and it does not try to. It is reading material, not a diagnostic tool, and it is not a medical device.
What you get
- All condition explainers are free. Basic information should not sit behind a paywall.
- Practical UK guides are the optional one-time unlock: assessment routes, doctor conversations, work and study.
- Built for how people actually read: dark mode, a dyslexia-friendly font toggle, and layouts that survive large text settings.
- Works entirely offline. Useful in a waiting room with no signal.
Your privacy, which matters more here
People read about neurodivergence long before they tell anyone, and sometimes they never tell anyone. So the app collects nothing: no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no network requests at all. It does not record which conditions you read about or how long you spend on them.
Links and helpline numbers are shown as plain text and are never opened for you, so no organisation learns you found them here.
Read the full Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
Important
This app gives general educational information. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation. Referral routes, waiting times and schemes change, and they differ across the UK, so always check the current position with the organisation concerned.
